The Banner You See...
...flown here was designed by Cousin Bob as a gift to the late Lord Lovat, who then flew it at his home in Beauly, Scotland until his death. It shows the regular quartered arms of Lovat with the Lovat Crest Badge (a stag's head encircled by a belt, with the motto Je Suis Prest, or I Am Ready) in the middle, on either side.

The Clan Fraser Association for California...
...hosts and participates in traditional Highland events year 'round. There are always Highland games for adults, but most importantly, plenty of games for kids, such as a three legged race, an egg toss, a tug of war and so on. The Ceilidh (Pronouced "kaylee") takes place when the sun goes down, around the fire pit. It is mainly for the kids as well. They are asked to sing songs, dance, tell jokes, or put on little skits and the winners of the days previous competitions get prize ribbons at that time also, so every one gathered 'round can applaud, all the way down to fifth place and every child will come away with something. We think of kids as an invaluable part of our association, for they are our future.
There Are...
...usually lots of Scottish songs and the sounds of guitars, fiddles, drums and the glorious pipes. It lasts for a few hours, before we all go off to bed down at our campsites. At the Potrero, the Place of the Frasers, all campsites Primitive!. There is no electricity, and water is iffy from the artesian well. We try to stay as close to the traditional Highland way of life as possible, even throwing around a little Gaelic! Here is a calendar of our activities, for 2009. Come and Join us! Bring the family! It's always a fun time!
